PositivePear Valley Senior Living is brand new. It's so beautiful. I would like to move in there myself. Everything is very tastefully decorated and top-of-the-line. Everything is new in the rooms.

CriticalThe facility itself is lovely. It is new, and kept clean. The caregivers are sweet and do their best. They are underpaid and overworked. Administration does a terrible job of communicating with families. We were given a lot of false promises and we were very disappointed with the follow through. My parent declined rapidly there.

PositiveI did a tour of Pear Valley Senior Living. It is a very large two-story complex. It's beautiful and is like a log cabin, just gorgeous. The food is very good. If you start to develop dementia or if you have a spouse who has dementia and you're in the assisted, your spouse can stay in the same care facility. CriticalThey don’t do what they say on contract, like keeping up with cleaning, trash, or making beds. To get anything done in the apartment, do not go through front desk. It will take months before something is done, fixing this or that. They do not keep family updated on any staff changes so it makes it hard to know who to contact for any situation. The food is nothing that is any good. It took me 3 months to finally get ahold of someone in regards to billing questions. They need a lot of work to do here for the money yo…

PositiveI visited Pear Valley Senior Living. It was OK. It gave me an insight into what you could expect in memory care, and so I've decided to go with in-home care for a while. It was clean, and they were nice. I didn't take notes. I just went in, talked to them, looked around, and left. It was more of an institution, but more of a caring institution. For the short time I was there it looked clean, and they were nice.
