Rooms are typical in size. Furniture needs replacement. My parents is a patient and he wardrobe was broke they couldn't fix it and they didn't offer replacement. I ended up buying my own Furniture. Communication is seriously lacking both between staff and family members and amount each other. Let's not talk about the food. The majority of the time I look at the food and think I wouldn't feed it to my dog. I end up calling in for takeout . It's sad because so many are stuck eating the slop o…

I was a patient there for 5 1/2 months and the quality of care was amazing, the staff was caring and compassionate to me. During my time there I was in need of physical therapy, dialysis and skilled nursing care. They responded quickly to personal and medical needs as they arose. There are some staff members I would like to thank. A friend of mine is currently in rehab at the Pearl of Hinsdale, and I’ve been very impressed by the people and the facilities. Not only are the staff extremely knowledgeable, but have in every contact, offered additional help or suggestions. They seem to advocate for their patients and treat them with care and dignity. My grandmother is at The Pearl of Hinsdale. The least I like about it is how far away it is from my house. Sometimes, the staff here is a little distracted. The facility is not that bad, both dirty- and structure-wise. They don't do anything. Sometimes people are talking, and they're okay with each other. And then sometimes, it feels like a bit of hopelessness and frustration.

I absolutely love this place and all of the staff

This place is it like a nursing home or like an old folks home and it's not like a hospital it's a mixture of the two but the staff is so friendly and engaging they always have activities for everybody to do like movie nights and bingo they bring in entertainment I have my dad there and he's 60 and every time I come home the nurses are exceptionally caring and I know my dad can be a handful at times one of the nurses especially Jamie she is such a sweetheart I was trying to take a picture with my dad they had a lit…

I was discharged from Hinsdale hospital on Wednesday March 29, 2023. I was there to get Iv antibiotics, wound care. The Social worker described it as skilled facility to get myself better. Unfortunately, the room was dirty and the air conditioner filter has not Been. cleaned in months. So the nurse changes my room. It seemed better but the bathroom was disgusting.
