CriticalThe website is lipstick on a pig. While it looks nice and boasts about the decorated rooms, the room my mother was in looked like a solitary confinement room. Nothing to help them, no clock, calendar, or anything to help them realize the day/hour. Memory care patients only diminish in their care (or lack thereof) The staff is nice when admitting, but HORRIBLE after. It's almost like they only care about medicare money and taking the person's income after Medicare-prescribed days. DO NOT PUT YOUR FAMILY HE…

PositiveMy father is in Pilgrim Manor. We chose it because I had a friend's mom that had been there for about 13 years, and she's been pleased. It's close to my house. The staff that I've dealt with has been so good to my father. I met with them and had a meeting. He's in rehab and he's going to be there long term as well. They want to improve on anything that needs to be improved on, so that's always a plus with me. He's in the long-term wing now. Night shift sometimes keeps it from…

PositiveI visited my mom's friend at Pilgrim Manor Skilled Nursing regularly. I thought it was a nice place. The staff, from what I could see, was friendly and caring. This was before COVID, and they had activities for the residents, which I actually took part in. The people that I interacted with there, my mom's friend, her roommate, and the people she befriended, seemed to be in good spirit most of the time. They seemed to get good care, I thought, as a nursing home could. She was there the end of 2019 and went…

CriticalI did not have time to conduct a thorough review of this facility before my father-in-law became a resident there. Had I done so and seen how the facility had been rated by Medicare, especially with regard to the staff, I would have never allowed it. While it appears clean upon entering and the staff is extremely nice during the admitting process, they quickly begin to treat the family members and residents in a horrible manner. While the entrance is clean, the rooms are not kept clean on a consistent basis. Compla…

PositivePilgrim Manor is well situated. The staff and the facility were very good. My mother got excellent care there. She was in a semi-private room. The room was well-maintained and the facility as a whole was well maintained. There were a lot of activities going on, and I had no issues whatsoever with them about keeping me informed of what was going on with my mother. They were very attentive to her needs. It was pneumonia that finally took its toll, and my mother passed in January.
