My Mother is barely surviving her residency here. There are some nice employees. Most don’t stay long. If your looking for hospital visits because of broken bones, This is the place for you, other wise Please keep looking.

I toured The Legacy at Hawthorne Park, and the person I had an appointment with was not there that day. They did give me tour and contacted me several times after, it was a nice place. I chose another community because of the availability of their living quarters and the friendliness of their staff.

The Legacy is a good community, but there's room for improvement

Taking into consideration they are shorthanded, the only thing is that they are lacking in communication. We had some things that they said would be done, but it wasn't done and calls weren't returned. Aside from that, I like the layout and overall it's great. I haven't had a lot of experience with communities, but I've looked through several of the others and I liked The Legacy the best. I liked the people the most when I first visited.

We really like The Legacy at Hawthorne Park, what really sold us right away is when you first walk in their common area was just superb to any other community we had looked at. It is set up like a little town hall with a barber shop, ice cream parlor, movie theater and a library. Right when our loved one walked in he just lit up, which he did not do at any other place we toured. We really like the rooms and he says the food is some of the best he has ever had. Excellent Community

This community is wonderful. The staff truly cares about each resident and it shows. It is very clean and such a pleasant community. Each staff member is very professional and it’s been a great experience. Placing a parent is hard however , I feel great that she living at Legacy at Hawthorne Park.

My review of The Legacy at Hawthorne Park

We would recommend this community to others, however the big issues would be the meals and dining. That is just lacking a little bit and at the moment they are going through some management changes.
