Porthaven Manor was very clean and very welcoming. Everybody that was in the community area was very friendly. The staff, Shelly, was amazing. She is a very upbeat person and very positive. She was very bubbly and accommodating. There was no pressure. They didn't have any activities going on when we were there. However, the staff gave us a list of activities for the month. If you couldn't find something to do, then that was your problem because there's a lot. They have crafts and arts. They would tak…

Everyone was super helpful, caring and very friendly. My apartment was very comfortable, I especially loved having a door that went to the outside. Easy access to my car, friends and family just walked in from the outside. The activities were so nice. If I didn't have my home I would have lived at Port Haven. I never ate there I preferred to cook my meals, much more economical.

The rooms have bugs, the doors don’t seal properly. Staff walk into your apartment and let others in. Feces in the hallway, carpet filthy. If you like hamburger gravy every day or soup and salad for dinner you’re in luck. Stoves don’t work. Nickel and dime you to death. Laundry is always broken. Staff yell and scream at residents. If you complain they label you crazy. Get out!!!!

I will move into Porthaven Manor. The room and the view are beautiful. It's just humongous. The lady who runs it, Christina, was just a sweet lady. They have a TV room for men for Monday night football. You could have tournaments for groups. It's a very good place. A lot is going on there. The facility was gorgeous and clean. The rooms are newly painted and all new carpeting. Everything is new.

I really enjoy being at Porthaven Manor. I have been so welcomed by the other tenants. I can't wait to do some of the activities and meet more of my new neighbors. The apartments are so beautiful. It is a great place to be.
