I visited this facility

I like that the Redbud Plaza Assisted Living was close to home. I like that it was kind of a small facility, and it seemed to be pretty well cared for. It was also close, just right next door to the hospital and the physical therapy center. It's older, and it shows that it is. It was clean, though, and they have a beauty and barber shop. We had a scheduled appointment, but when we walked in, the staff there acted as if she didn't know what we were talking about. After a few minutes, though, she was fine. …

Mom was only there a short time before going to the nursing home. She needed more care. So not much experience . One thing... the food was not good Dry she said. People all nice and helpful especially with her having to move so soon. She loved the apartment and was sorry to leave!

Awesome facility!

Great place! Clean, open areas, you can have dogs or cats if you can care for them yourself. Access to a work out facility, indoor heated pool and hot tub. You have an apartment with separate bedroom. Staff are well educated, professional, friendly and very caring. Best kept secret in northeast Kansas.
