Rivergate Health Care Center absolutely is a five star caring/loving facility. From the time we check-in to the time we check-out we are greeted with smiling faces and positive comments. Mom has been a resident for just over one year and loves the care she receives there. The entire staff truly treats our mom, and my wife and I like we are family. My mother is currently in this facility. The afternoon nurses all gather at the desk and chat amongst one another, and leave a family member standing, waiting to ask a question. None are too eager to answer. Needless to say, I will be looking for a different facility, so she can hopefully get the care she needs

The food seems imho mostly not too good, somewhere lower than a school cafeteria; some seem barely edible such as "al dente" noodles that are far too hard for a fork, and some are just not appetizing, such as soggy zucchini. If you eat in your room you can't place an order, they just bring you something that seems to be unpredictable, though you can send it back; and they make careful notes in the computer of what you tell the dietician are your food allergies and preferences, notes which they someti…

I've been here before as well as in 2 other nursing homes. My multiple stays in Rivergate total almost 2 years.Of the 3 facilities I've been in, this is the best one. In fact, the other 2 aren't in the same playing field as Rivergate. rivergate is well maintained and always clean. The food is good because the supervisors Jackie and Nate do a great job. The Dining room is set up like a restaurant so picky eaters can get a meal they'll eat and enjoy. Only problem in the Dining room is that a coupl…

Rivergate Health Care Center is a clean place. I liked that the people are very nice and that the doors are locked. They got coffee for the residents, and they will be able to accommodate my husband's likes. I wish they would have more walking space for the residents. The yard wasn't that big.
