I visited this facility

We visited the continuing care communities of Rogue Valley Manor in Medford, and it is a fabulous community. There's really nothing we've found in California that's as good as this one. They have a 3-bedroom cottage with two baths and a two-car garage for about a million dollars, and in California, you'd be lucky to find anything like that for $3 million. They have an incredible number of activities available, too. There's nothing that we found in California that matches that. They have a p…

I visited this facility

My husband stayed in Rogue Valley Manor for rehab. It was a very nice facility. It was homey. The staff was very caring and attentive. They offered everything. They had a social director come around and ask about his interests and kind of interview him as to what he would be interested in. They would bring ice cream carts around make sundaes and give ice cream to the residents. They did a lot when he was up there. He did quite a bit. They had a rec room where they could just go and relax, and view the scenery becau…

I visited this facility

I toured Rogue Valley Manor. We like it, but it's very pricey. These individual independent living ones are separate. It's not like you got a next-door neighbor, you're all independent, and you're separate from the other buildings, which is nice. It's real private. It's my very favorite one, but you have to have a lot of money to get in there. The staff is super fine. They dress up in suits and dresses, really neat. Rogue Valley Manor has three different dining options, and they have t…

I am/was a resident of this facility

I have been a resident of the Rogue Valley Manor for the past six years. RVM, located in Medford, Oregon, is either the largest of one of the largest CCRCs (Continuing Care Retirement Community) in the western US. While residents have come from many venues (over 100 from Hawaii alone), we moved from just miles away in Ashland, Oregon. Given that the move to a retirement community is quite likely the last one you’ll ever do, it is not a decision to make lightly. We did our research and determined that this close-to-…

While residents have come from many venues (over 100 from Hawaii alone), we moved from just miles away in Ashland, Oregon. I am/was a resident of this facility

I’ve lived at Rogue Valley Manor for over five years. Like most folks who move here, we and the rest of our family felt that we were too young to make the move. Boy, were we wrong. Now we have the time to do all of the things that we want and don’t have to be concerned about what we will have for dinner, maintaining our front garden, changing a lightbulb, or wondering about our house when we travel. There are groups and activities to participate in if that’s what makes you happy or you can spend your time not doing…
