PositiveFirst, regarding the staff which I feel is the most critical and important for determining the quality of care for patients (and family members/friends). I rate them a 5. The staff was always caring and attentive. They communicated well and made efforts to engage in conversation. Activities were limited due to health circumstances but efforts to involve our "patient" were consistent within the scope of participatory ability. Food and dining arrangements were excellent. Menus were were varied and choices were broad …

CriticalThere is no doubt that this is a mega-complex for seniors, both independent and in some stage of necessary assistance. Having a skilled nursing staff is a bonus, as is having an on-site medical practice. But that also brings some disadvanteges (they reported to me an 11:1 staff to patient ratio during the day in memory care and 22:1 at night--though state regulations require 8:1, but since they can 'borrow from skilled staff when needed,' I guess they get by with the discrepancy. They were also quite dogmatic in h…

PositiveMy wife moved into Rolling Green Village. We chose them because they are one of the top two or three in Greenville. What I liked best is the care of the patients. Her apartment is adequate, and the food was excellent. The staff is experienced, has relatively long tenures, and is skilled. They are also doing a lot to keep her engaged with activities, friendships, and plenty of things to do.

PositiveAll of my interactions with nursing care, administrators and staff show a dedicated and responsible/responsive team that works diligently to provide the best care to their patients/residents and communicate openly and often with family and caretakers. that is not to say that everything is perfect, but in comparison to other experiences we had at different facilities over the past 18 months, the experiences with the staff and care givers has consistently met our expectations or corrections were swiftly made when ad…

PositiveI'm considering Rolling Green Village for myself. I've had many friends who've lived there. The best thing about them is the friendly atmosphere. The staff is attentive. I have eaten onsite there before and I know the food is good. The place seems very inviting and clean. Clearly the staff is attentive to any cleaning that needs to be done. In my friend's room sometimes it becomes cluttered, but never dirty. My friend has so many things that she does. She has friends come to visit her and they&a…

CriticalI would have given RGV 10 stars a year ago. The past 2 months they have started incorporating petty changes that have a huge impact on residents. They no longer deliver packages to residents doors. Big problem for elderly people with mobility issues. . Get volunteers or an intern to do it. Just poor decision making. Now they have removed all magazines from common areas. They want the place to look sterile as opposed to lived in. Just toss old magazines and leave some for the residents enjoyment. Easy answer but ins…
