My mother has moved into Royal Columbian Senior Living for assisted living. It's very clean and it's reasonably priced. There are nice community areas where the residents can gather. They have a great library. I haven't interacted very much with the staff; however, those that I have met I would give a five, just because they're friendly and efficient. Lots of changes over the last year. It’s nice to see everyone smiling and happy. New staff along with the staff that has been there since I moved my parents in. A person dealing dealing with dementia should never be told that they don’t have to give them their medicine because they came back late from an outing w/ family. We never had a meeting because it was cancelled by them to discuss things and if that was how it was to be done, it should be discussed w/ family not being rude to the senior. If I could give this facility less I would. The staff does not attend to health care needs of the residents. My family member has been there for months now, and there has been no follow-up care to his medical needs. He has not received any specialized care for issues nor and rehabilitation care.
