PositiveMy mother is in Royal Oaks Nursing and Rehab Center. They're very clean and neat. They give a lot of attention to their residents, and I like their willingness to work with the family. And I like that they notify the family of any changes. My main reason for choosing it is the appearance and cleanliness, the friendly staff, and proximity to where my dad lives, so he can visit my mom. It's beautiful. My mom doesn't really participate, but they have a calendar full of stuff all the time. I see a lot of…

PositiveRoyal Oaks Nursing And Rehab Center seemed organized. The atmosphere was better. They have a chef who works there for their food, but they have a long waiting list to get in. The only thing is I can't get the administrator to call me back. The place looked as clean as it could be. There was no odor. The rooms I saw were for people who are at end-of-life, and they were very nice. They had a beautiful courtyard and a nice eating area. There are tablecloths and silverware. Assistants were working in the dining ro…

I arrived at 10pm. the nurse told me "She didn't have my pain prescription it may arrive sometime tomorrow ...i was in bad pain. I laid there from 10pm till8am literally crying. I was informed later she could have gotten approval for Tylenol at least. My goodness very scary place my roommate asked to go to the toilet and their response was "just go in the bed and we&ap…

PositiveMy dad is at Royal Oaks Nursing and Rehab Center, and they are excellent. They have excellent care. When you walk in, you don't smell anything. The aides and nurses are very caring and attentive. They are smiling and happy. When I go and see my dad, I speak to the residents, and they're all happy, very content, and don't have any complaints. If you have clothes there that they wash, you have to mark the clothes yourself. Otherwise, they don't know where they belong. The rehab is fantastic, and t…

CriticalMy boyfriend went for Rehab after a back surgery. Nurses were very good with him, but their hands are tied as to meds only as doctor orders. Well that is statement I'm very upset over. Al is a diabetic and stage 3 kidney disease. Everytime they checked his sugar he was 200 to 400. They were not giving him the dosage they should have. His feet were so swollen he couldn't even get his shoes on for therapy. He was urinating all over himself and had no control of his bladder. He had only two shower in the 11 …

PositiveThis is a beautiful facility with a lovely garden out back. Good ice cream every day. Excellent Rehab dept. Erica got me walking quickly. Food leaves a lot to be desired. Not good most of time. CNA's very nice and answered lights fairly quickly. Generally good experience. Rooms are nice and clean and smple size. Just wish they had headphones for TV's. No activities.
