I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My brother and sister-in-law are there together in the same room which is the best possible option. They are treated with respect and kindness. The staff are very caring and interact with the patients and family to include them in all aspects of their care. As their guardian, I feel very comfortable in discussing anything with staff and management and if an issue is brought up, it is resolved promptly. Both of my family members are very happy there and I feel they are safe and well taken care of.

Not what I expected

The staff treats residents as if they are too needy. Lets call lights ring forever. Is very lazy and pre pours all medicaion. Staff is over worked, foes not smile and is always in a hurry. Understaffed and still gets rid of good staff. Not pleasant.

I am not an English major, and I don't know how to use "chat whatever" to write letters. But I know how much I really like this place. My family member has been there for the last few weeks. The people who work there are the greatest, and the place is spotless. His rehab has been excellent, and he has really improved. Everybody is extremely pleasant, even the other patients we talked to in the hallways.

Built in maybe the 50s, but only limited improvements since. Smells like poop everywhere. TVs cranked up all night, so sleep if you're lucky. The whole place is tired. It is clear they limit any investment to drain as much cash as possible out of everyone who is stuck in this dump.

The rooms and facility are kept spotless and the employee's really care about the residents. They treat my Mom and my wife and I like family. It is always a pleasure to visit the facility and the staff go out of their way to answer any questions we have. I feel 100% confident that my Mom will be taken care of while she stays there.

I was a resident at Royal for a few weeks of rehabilitation. After Guilian Barre syndrome left me unable to function. The Royal was great, the entire staff is wonderful! From the nursing, PT, cleaning, cooking, and maintenance everyone is very helpful and kind. Even the other patients and their families are supportive and friendly. Starting my recovery here was perfect, close to home and comfortable. I would highly recommend the Royal to anyone for great care and comfort. I will always be grateful for everyone&apos…
