My mother was a resident of St. Joseph Villa for approximately 6 years. She was a resident of the 3rd floor. It was a long journey that was made easier by the atmosphere and staff. We were there as the facility went through an extensive renovation project. The staff and residents went through some trying times but the with patience and perseverance, the results were amazing. I am a weekly volunteer at the nursing home facility for retired Sisters of St Joseph who are infirmed and, in some cases have alzheimers. The facility also has lay people who need constant care or, in some cases, are recuperating from surgery. The facility has 24/7 nursing care with physical therapy on-site and water aerobics. The nearest hospital is 10 minutes away. There are 7 floors to the facility. It is clean, bright and cheerful with many solariums to rest and relax as well as grounds for those who are able …
