A perfect storm hit our life and we found ourselves needing acute medical care. We chose Sante of Chandler. To say it was overwhelming would be an understatement. We were quickly enveloped by the complete crew of doctors, nurses, CNA’s, dining staff, housekeepers, and hospitality crew. All were helpful, cordial and efficient. My 93 year old grandma was visiting from CO when she fell and fractured her femur. After 5 days in the hospital she was transferred to Santé Chandler and it was the BEST decision we made for her recovery. She spent three weeks at Santé, so you can imagine we all became very close to everyone involved in her daily care. The facility itself is very nice. Despite clear communication from family re: mother, staff continuously failed to apply patches as necessary/required. One nurse was extremely rude, refusing to return calls and made asking questions difficult. Sante sent transport driver off without family member to an appointment to see a neurologist in downtown Phoenix, despite the patient being unable (she was struggling cognitively) to see doctor without DIL. On the first of March, I left the center after two weeks of care. I had an excellent experience there. The CNAs that cared for me, Sheila and Liz, treated me like I was their family member. They gave me respect and were always there for my needs. Emanuel and Victoria from the Cafe were excellent, also. Emanuel always gave me extra attention as if I was his own grandmother. All the staff were great except for the kitchen supervisor she yelled at me instead of talking to me. That happened the last Saturday I was there it upset me so much .
