PositiveI toured Searstone, and I have a friend who moved in. I realized it's an expensive place. You must be in the middle range of revenue to do something like this. You have to have quality for general living before they let you in. They do not allow you to come in if you need level-one health care. You have to be reasonably healthy. They have three restaurants in there now, and they're remodeling the old place, so there will be two more restaurants, for a total of five restaurants inside the facility, so you&…

PositiveWe had money down at Searstone. It's an assisted living place and a big one. I liked it because it was closer to my daughter than some of the places. That would probably be where I would go on a permanent basis when the time comes. I've been there several times. It's a beautiful community. A couple of my neighbors have gone there and love it. They have a variety of entertainment scheduled, Bible studies, and church services. It's pretty self-contained for just about all the needs. It's expe…

PositiveWhat I like about Searstone iss the overall layout of the building and the amenities that they have like eating and exercising. They charge you a huge upfront fee that you have to give them to get into the place and they give it back to you after you die or somebody else in their family. It's high cost more than I think. You have to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars to get in that place. I only met a few people, and they are all very good at what they do. They know their business. They know what's goin…

PositiveSearstone was probably the top of the line in terms of quality and amenities. The cost of it was reflected in the services that they offered. They've established themselves to be a high level of care within Cary, both physically and in terms of amenities, which includes accommodations and food. The apartments were wonderful. They offered a variety of physical and social activities.

PositiveWe had a very good experience touring Searstone. The facility was very nice. The two bedroom, two bath was beautiful. The staff was excellent and they did excellent follow-ups with us. The restaurant and exercise facility was very nice. The overall feel of the place was a good one.

PositiveWe moved to Searstone a little over two years ago and have never looked back. The staff and residents here are like family, and there is always something to do. We love the on-site healthcare and the wide variety of activities available. Searstone has truly been a blessing for us.
