My experience with Sequoyah Manor Nursing Home (SMNH) began in the year 2005. The first impression was this is an excellent facility with the absolute best staff available anywhere. The care provided to every resident far exceeds expectations from the aides to the nurses. Every single one is professional and personal and display love to everyone of the residents and their families. The kitchen staff serves hot delicious meals and the activities are enjoyed by all. I found that the workers of this facility treated my family member as if they were their own. The nurses aid's were very gentle and were always trying to please the patient. I never had a bad experience with the nurses aids. The nurses that were on charge was a different story. Some nurse seemed to have my family members and other patients needs as priority, but then there were some who thought that it was a waste of their time assiting the patients and would rather be setting up at the desk.
