Dad is in Serene Gardens of Imlay City. The staff is amazing. They are so kind and so hands-on. My dad loves them, and they're so good to him, and I think they're quite patient. They put up with a lot. Those residents don't really know what they're doing, and their staff is a great group. We have been so pleased with them. My wife has moved into Serene Gardens of Imlay City. They're very polite and very helpful. She has to have assistance with everything, going to the bathroom, and taking a shower. She can't walk. They're doing everything that I don't have time to get done. The staff is very respectful. My wife hasn't complained about the food, so that's good. They take care of her. The facility is excellent. She hasn't participated in any of the activities yet. She's only been there a few days…

The staff really care about the residents. When mom got very ill the hospital said the assisted living would not take her back. She had a trach and hospice. The woman in charge said to me: she is family. Bring her here and we'll figure it out. I was so glad I didn't have to find another place. My mom passed away [date removed]. I would highly recommend Angela's House.

PositiveJust What We Were Looking For
Overall Angela's House is a nice, clean, friendly, and attentive place for a loved one. This is a smaller community, and has a homey feel compared to larger communities in the area. The staff are good to work with if there are any questions or concerns that arise about my loved one. Angela's House is able to assist with bathing, dressing, getting in and out of bed, and more for the my loved one. Memory Care is a secured unit, and the staff are very good about watching the residents and the exits.
