Shady Oaks is like extended family. The entire staff is friendly and kind. I've made a number of good friends since I've been here - staff and residents. I would absolutely recommend them to others who are searching for senior living for their loved one.

Everyone at Shady Oaks is so friendly and helpful. They have 2 full time chefs and the food is very good. I had live in help at home for over 3 years. My husband looks the best he has in a long time. I think it's because they have him on a schedule. He gets his meds at the same time every day and they get him up and out of bed every day. I believe keeping him on a schedule is the reason he's doing so well. There is an RN in the building 24/7, several aides and the owner lives next door and is there every day

Shady Oaks Assisted Living is really, really great. My husband gets good care there. The aides are very attentive and caring. He's in a room with a roommate. It's furnished, and it is nice. They have a lot of stuff for everyone, and particularly a lot of music performed by musicians, and the people love that. They're very stimulated. They have a room that they use for meals, exercise, and music. They have a lot of art on the walls and a lot of screens with moving pictures of birdfeeders, ponds, or me…

Staff and management are kind, professional and compassionate. They anticipate the residents' needs and address them quickly. The facility is clean and up to date. Recreation department provides games, movies, concerts and outings.
