SHARON CARE CENTER

We had a great tour experience with Sharon Care Center. The main reasons we did not choose this facility was because they did not have the bigger apartment available right away when we needed it. The facility was also older, yet it costed nearly as much as the updated ones that we visited.

At the moment, my mother is still in Sharon Care Center. She has now been moved into a room with a second person. The problem that we're having is she's not using the toilet at all. She has to be lifted in and out of bed with the Hoyer and put into her electric wheelchair. Then she can get on about her day, but she's not changing herself or anything. The staff members at Sharon Care Center get 10 stars and the care services are just about as good as you can get. We would recommend this community to other families who are searching for a place for their loved ones. The price is expensive but we have seen nothing derogatory of Sharon Care Center

Covid has made things difficult and [name removed] is not very cooperative sometimes, but the staff is wonderful. I am pleased with her care.

I've been here at Sharon Care Center for almost a year now and it's acceptable, that's as far as it goes. Everybody complains about the food but that's nothing new. The staff is very good. I have a studio, but there are also 1-bedroom apartments available. Everything works fine, and when something breaks they come around and fix it. Would recommend if your hands are tied and don't know what else to do. Look at trying private in-home care.

I would recommend Sharon Care out of all the other options in the Lewis County area. They will work with you. Sometimes it's hard to get a meeting with a supervisor, but once you do, they're very courteous and try to handle and address the issues you bring to them. They're very short staffed, and a lot of the employees are not trained to do a whole lot. There's about 10 memory care residents to four caregivers, but even so, the residents are often just sitting around doing nothing. If you really need a place, Sharo…
