While a few staff members were kind and genuinely caring, the overall quality of care provided to patients was subpar. There were frequent issues with responsiveness and attentiveness to residents' needs, leaving much to be desired in terms of consistent, compassionate care. DO NOT put your loved ones in this facility! You will regret it! My grandmother would have lived longer if it wasn't for the careless workers here. She only lived here for FOUR months. FOUR months! In the last month of her life at this place there was an incident. We still do not know the true story, as we've heard multiple different stories by the workers here. We have visited Shawnee Gardens Healthcare and Rehab Center. We chose it for my dad because of its location and they have transportation. They'll take him to dialysis three times a week, and they have a person to do that, and that was the main reason. My mom mostly chose it, and she likes it. The staff was nice. This place is horrible! Rinks of urine, press the call light no one comes for HOURS! The staff is unfriendly and lazy, they for got to bring my farther in law meals daily multiple times the meals they did bring, unhealthy! Non diabetic friendly.
