I really don't like Shields Richmond Nursing Center. My husband is in there for rehab right now. I'm not satisfied at all. He didn't have a heel sore when he came in there, but currently he has a sore on both of his heels and a sore on his buttock. They left him in his bowel movement. They don't turn him. They didn't get him up until I raised hell. Now they try to accommodate us more, but I had to raise hell in order to get them to do that. The light stays on and no one comes in. I don&apos…

My mother, Jan, was admitted to Shields Nursing Center after being discharged from Doctors Medical Center. She, just like anyone else, did not want to go to any nursing facility, because she missed home so much after being in the hospital urgent care for about four months.
