CriticalI am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
The rooms are super-small. There are no chairs for visitors to sit in. My sister was there for a few days, and her clothes were all lost. Same has happened to my friend. There are not enough employees to provide adequate care for the patients. Having a person need a change for at least 45 minutes is not a rarity. There just aren't enough aides. The people who work there try, but they are way understaffed, so this is not a desirable place to be.

I have a family member at SHC. I believe they have received excellent care. The staff has always kept me informed about any changes or concerns and I have always felt at ease leaving my loved one in their care. The staff have always been helpful and proactive and are very approachable. Any concerns have been addressed quickly and satisfactorily.
