I visited Silver Birch of Hammond. The management and staff were pretty much who I met when I was there. The atmosphere was really nice. It's a good facility. It looked pretty clean. The cleaning guy was having an issue with those little plants that have the cotton that flies in the air. It was windy that day, and they had blown into the lobby. My tour of Silver Birch of Hammond was a pretty nice experience. It was a very nice place. It was clean and fresh. It didn't smell like a nursing home. When you go through the front doors there's a sitting area, and then the hallway where all the common areas were. They had music there and an area where you can get your hair done. They went on field trips and they took you to your doctors' appointment or to the store. There was a nurse on staff, and the people were very nice.

We toured the assisted living at Silver Birch of Hammond. The place was nice. It wasn't extravagant, but the clientele is a mix of different cultures. The facility was clean. They have 1-bedrooms and studios. The 1-bedrooms are a decent size for one person that doesn't have a whole lot. It'll be enough room for my mother-in-law. They have activities; however because of COVID, they don't now. They do outings once a month. They have a transportation company that will take them to doctor's app…

Silver Birch is a fun place to live. You can meet new people, enjoy activities, play games, and have quiet time. You are treated with respect and your opinion is valued. The receptionist is the best, friendly and helpful. The while staff will extend themselves to lend a helping hand whenever needed.

Nice community. Great tour with [name removed]. My mother may not qualify but if she does she would definitely love to live there.

Always nice people. When we visit, residents look happy. They eat a lot and have activities. Activity director is really fun and jokes with the residents a lot to keep them happy.
