Silver Creek was a very nice facility. It was very clean and had a very pleasant atmosphere. The personnel seemed motivated to provide the best care, and it seemed like they had outstanding programming for the residents with opportunities for socialization. The dining room was very clean. My husband was placed into Silver Creek here in Joplin on October 5th. He will be there until probably the end of the month. It was just temporary respite care in assisted living until I got over recuperating from my surgery. He likes that he has his own room. We requested that he have one that he could look out of so they showed him 3 different rooms and he was able to pick one out that he liked the most. Arbors had been great, except for the fact there was a miscommunication with the finances. When we moved my mother, they failed to tell us that it was a self-paid facility. Today was the best day she’s had because she is finally getting used to the place, and now we have to move her again. It is a very clean facility, and the food looks good, but she didn’t need assisted living; she needed a full nursing home. My mom is doing really great at this community. The staff is very caring and helpful. Mom loves all of the meals and variety. She stays active with great activities. The community is very clean and nice. We would recommend this care and value that is received here to other families.

Best place possible!

Silver Creek & Arbors has a super and sweet staff, the care is super, I just wish it was closer, but it is still a great location that is easy to get to. They have great outdoor spaces, there's plenty for my loved one to do, but she can also be in her room as well with the TV and computer. It's like her whole house is in one room! She has a phone she can use to call friends, and she is also able to call the staff quickly. She fell recently and within 3 minutes after falling, the staff was there, she couldn't believ…

I thought the staff was fairly friendly. When you walk into the rooms it was pretty homey and nice. I thought the furniture was pretty good quality. Everything seemed to be fairly clean. I had a few questions that the care giver showing me around couldn't answer which was of some concern, but didn't steer me away.
