Songbird is THE place for Mom or Dad!

I brought my mother to the highly recommended Songbird Care Home in the Toro Park area, just two weeks before the Covid shutdown in California. Unfortunately, care homes were on the Covid quarantine list and I wasn’t able to see Mom until Mother’s Day, wearing a mask, face shield and sitting 10 ft. apart. Very strange indeed. Owner is very knowgable, and experience in senior care. Staff is very kind and helpful and show interest in caring for the seniors. Home is kept clean.

Good Experience

Good experience so far. The caregivers seem friendly, willing, and competent. The most difficult aspect of this is that there are so MANY caregivers, coming and going at various hours, making it hard to communicate with a specific person. I wish there was an easy way to speak with, for example, the person who gives my mom a shower, or the person who will be getting her up in the morning. But I'm sure that this is not a problem specific to Songbird, but is true of any facility. Everyone is willing to listen and help…
