I would recommend it's great for seniors who want their independence, but also not isolated. A lot of seniors Meat and do a lot of activities very friendly place but if you want to do your own thing, you can do that also. Everything has been fine with South winds no real issues or concerns renewed the lease.

The people,one thing I didn't know was how water and sewer is collected monthly, when I had my home these charges were collected every 90 days, not on monthly basis, I wish this was explained more professional. I would recommend Southwinds.

As in any care facility. The average facility is constantly experiencing turnover of employees due to competition for competent staff and shortage of candidates. Greenacres also shares this problem. Overtime costs is the only way they can adequately staff . Constant overtime requirements, cause fatigue for employees, stress on managers, and concern for the level of care the patients are receiving. I think they are doing a pretty good job handling the demands they face. Of course improving conditions , communication…

I moved to Southwinds Active Adult Community. It's absolutely beautiful. I am extremely happy with my bedroom. My bedroom is large. I have a queen-sized bed. I have enough room to comfortably put my dresser and chest and I still have room. I have a walk-in closet and it's carpeted throughout. The one beautiful thing is that the staff is available whenever you need them. They're very friendly. I haven't had any problems, none whatsoever. They have movies, they have games, they have chair exercise…
