My overall experience at Spring Arbor of Outer Banks was good. The sales marketing person was good and knowledgeable, but we don't think that it was a good fit for my mother, should she go into one. She is still very mobile, and there were a lot of residents who were in walkers and wheelchairs, and I think that she would have been a little upset seeing that she is not ready and that she was not there yet. I toured Spring Arbor of Outer Banks, and I really liked it. It had beachy colors, and all the decor was beach themed. It was very welcoming. Everybody was friendly. I didn't like the carpeting though because it was brown Berber, and it looked really out of style. The facility as a whole was very nice. The memory care was very intimate. Their population of residents is very small. It was quiet time when I went, and everybody was together in a sunroom relaxing. It looked like a place I would be comfortable with…

Mom passed [date removed], but she LOVED Spring Arbor. It's an amazing place, home felt at home surround. She loved the staff, and they loved her. I visited everyday sometimes twice a day. Never a concern about moms care. I was briefed everyday when I arrived. I plan on continuing to visit residents that were moms close friend.
