PositiveOur family's experience
The staff are very caring and treat residents with great respect. Any questions or concerns are addressed quickly. Residents are encouraged to participate in a variety of activities, including exercise, religious services, music, games and parties. Our family member is more engaged and content than he was at his previous community. We have only positive things to say about St. Joe's.

My husband is currently at St. Joseph Manor. It is conveniently located to me, his son, and his childhood friends. His room is a good size. It's bright and sunny. It's got a nice view. The facilities are very, very clean. The staff has all been wonderful to him, to me, and to his visitors. The food is very good and he likes it. They are doing a good job. They are most excellent. Right now, he's a little bit limited, but he does physical therapy twice a week, and they also have games and activities.

I went to Holy Redeemer St. Joseph Manor. It seemed pleasant. It was clean. They had activity areas for things. The staff was good. I tried for a long time to get my brother in there, but I couldn't. They eventually said OK, my brother was qualified, but it could be as long as a year before they had a bed. So I felt, well, I wish I knew that at the beginning, because I needed to move him on soon.

CriticalCried for help first night
I was in the rehab center for fractured back. I was left setting on the edge of the bed as the aids got mad at me because I could not scoot back and they refused to help me get my legs up on the bed. 2 aids walked out of the room as I sat there crying for help. Finally after 15 minutes they came back and helped me get in bed. I did find several good cna’s I would love to name them but I wouldn’t they know who they are. Nurses would ask pain level and give out the drugs a few hours late. I am sorry I have to write t…
