Very friendly staff. Always there to help the people. Check in on the people in their apartment often. Make sure the people are involved in activities. Recommend very highly!

Anguished family over Dad's suffering and pain

My loved one needed care for fall risk. They should have explained to us in the beginning that they did not have the staff for that instead of making me hire outside help to care for my loved one at night. My loved one fell 5 times there and each time was sent by ambulance to the hospital. Which I had to pay all those extra bills.

I would have picked zero for my rating, but it was not an option. My dad has been in hospice for over two years. He has dementia and his aortic heart valve is no good. We took care of him at home for two years with the help of hospice, but the incontinence and push back (the dementia) got us to the point where we just weren't equipped to handle it. We absolutely love Stafford Hill. The staff is great! They are always there for my mom.

My friend's a resident of Stafford Hill. The area I visited was more of an Alzheimer's area because you didn't get down there and they'd have to buzz you in. The staff were very attentive to the residents and caring. They have a nice dining area, but I didn't sample the food. One time I went in there and they were bowling, more or less a different type, but they were bowling. So, they do offer some things to them. The facility is very nice. They are very friendly, welcoming and have several activities. The biggest problem is staffing turnover. My Mother in law says the lunches are fantastic but the dinner is complete opposite and she does not like it at all. Overall is a very nice place for her.
