My wife was at Standing Stone Care and Rehab. It's absolutely wonderful. She got a shared room which is like what you would expect to see. They basically were side by side and nothing between them. They have little games and things that they play, but not nearly as many as the activities in the other place. They have long-term care there, too. It's a fairly large building. And you can go down one hall, down the other hall, back up this hall, back up to where you started, and so you can have a nice walk. T…

My grandmother was a resident at the nursing home for over 4 years, before going home to visit her maker. I visited on a monthly basis. At first she was very unhappy to be away from home, after the first couple of months there was nowhere else she had rather be. They had arts & crafts and music time. There were lots of hands on activates she could be involved with. She loved having the visitors (local school children, girl scouts, and church groups) were always popping in to spread cheer.
