CriticalStaff is so rude, and complain when the elderly need help. Low sense of urgency and unreliable medication times. Terrible food. After hearing me complain saying “if we weren’t here what would he do?” And the nurse was yelling “what do they need?! What are they talking about?!” In the hallway to Instead of coming in to help. If you want your loved ones to feel neglected this is the place.

PositiveHi, My mother was at BAHR for almost 3 weeks getting PT. I am very familiar with nursing homes as both my mother and father have been in numerous ones over the years. They took excellent care of my mother as if she was one of their loved ones. That took a lot of stress off of me as I am solely my mother's caretaker. They went over and beyond to help my mom with her needs. My mother was happy and that helped with her recovery. In the future, if needing a nursing home this would be my number one choice. A shout-…

CriticalMy great aunt was in this facility for rehab first then moved to the nursing home side, on what this review is based. Ninety-five percent of techs did not change diapers, and they don’t want too, and expressed it verbally or by silent treatment to my aunt. My aunt would be in a wet or soiled diaper for hours, even after she rang for help multiple times. (She did acknowledge two techs who did change diapers cheerfully as they both said “it’s my job”.). A family member would call nurses to ask that they change her di…

PositiveBAHR has been an AMAZING facility to work with thus far. My mother was recently admitted into long term care at BAHR. As many can imagine, transitioning a parent into long term care is one of the hardest decisions you will ever make. I was physically sick with fear and overridden in guilt. Let me just say, BAHR has treated my mother with such dignity and respect. They calmed my worries and instilled confidence that I lost long before this transition. I was one of those folks that google searched after google search…

CriticalMy mother came to this facility after having a stomach problem. She was to get rehab and occupational therapy to help get her strength back so she could come home. They didn't allow visitors so we were unable to keep track of her progress. Not once did anyone call a member of her family to let her know of my mom's progress. After 3 weeks in rehab, she came home severely dehydrated, kidney's not functioning properly and severe UTI. The same night she was released we had to take her back to the hospita…

CriticalPlease don’t consider this nursing home for anyone you care about! Whether it’s for rehab, health care, nursing home. They do not take care of residents, they don’t answer call lights for hours! The employees just don’t care about the residents and are not helpful. People are left alone for hours, numerous falls and bad attitudes. Don’t even ask about the food! Employees in this field need to be paid more so they actually care about their jobs.
