PositiveUntil the end we were pleased with the staff, facility and care my Mom received at StoryPoint Birmingham.
★★★★★
PositiveMy mom has been living at Storypoint for the past four years. From the moment she moved in she called it home. The ability to have your own furnishing, furniture and wall decorations in your apartment truly lends to this feeling. She’s developed a wonderful community of friends which contribute to her day-to-day quality of life. Staffing issues come up from time to time but under the current leadership they are addressed immediately. Mom currently enjoys a very warm relationship with the aids, house keeper and admi…

PositiveIt's been very difficult. At arrival, end of June 2026, they didn't tell us they actually didn't have an activity coordinator for the Memory Care side of the facility. Activities were not cognitively challenging and regularly getting missed and if I understand correctly, staff and fill ins were responsible for the activities. At one point, it seemed as if they had some random man in charge of an afternoon activity but he didn't engage the residents so no one participated. Our mom has been sad and lonely. With a…

PositiveMy mother has been a resident in Assisted Living and now Memory Care. There is an overwhelming sense of friendliness at StoryPoint, and the staff works hard to make the residents feel comfortable. There are quite a few activities and special events which always seem well attended. I believe the Management Staff works hard to provide consistent, caring service to all residents. The common areas are clean and welcoming.
★★★★★
PositiveStorypoint Birmingham is an amazing place. My mom lives in The Memory care area of the facility and it’s always pleasant the care staff are amazing they go above and beyond to make sure residents are safe and enjoying life. The environment is clean, full of life, and very lively. The food always looks amazing and smells great! The Management team and The Director are super helpful always. The building always makes you feel welcome and makes you feel at ease about who’s taking care of your family.

PositiveI will write it as of four. Most things are really good. The place is clean and stylish. There are many activities. Our loved one feels that she is attended to well by friendly people. There is frequent turnover I believe, especially in the administration. There is an ongoing issue with the elevator. The food is just so so. One thing that she especially likes having here that she did not have in her last senior living place is access to a shuttle for appointments. The other thing she is, especially glad for is the …
