Summer Breeze Senior Living is a very nice place. The staff is very accommodating. You can get meals here three times a day. You can walk up to the dining room, or they bring food to you, which is nice. My room is a two-bedroom, which is set up for only one. They have different floor plans. They also have amenities. My dad is currently in Summer Breeze Senior Living, and I would give them a very high recommendation. The staff is excellent. The facility is very clean. Their activities are phenomenal, and the food is good. It's just a wonderful place. I'm very happy with it. Several times a week, they have live music. They do bingo. We visited Summer Breeze Senior Living. My friend liked the location. The church that she belongs to is just a few blocks away from it. She likes the fact that it's down here on Wilmington Island, so that's her main thing. We've had several people that have stayed there, and they really liked it there. Overall, everything has been good. Communication is good. Distribution of medication would be my only slight concern, but nothing terrible. Before moving in, my dad used to be a little cranky, and he's happy now at Summer Breeze. My parents are independent enough and still have their own space, but there' s always assistance there. CriticalSummer Breeze Senior Living review
Overall we were pretty happy with it, but at the end they left a pretty bad taste in our mouth. Our loved one passed away back in February, and after her funeral they closed the entire state down due to COVID. This community wanted us to pay for the last month of service, but since everything was shut down we were not able to access the bank in order to pay them. Under those circumstances we wish they were more understanding and accommodating.
