Summit By Morrison was very nice. We love the community. It's a brand-new facility. We looked at a cottage that has two bedrooms and a kitchen-living room combined. There is a sun porch and a laundry room, too. Some of them have garages. It is quite roomy. We went through the whole place. We went to the dining hall. They had a theater, and they had a library. They had assisted living places. The only thing is that it was on the small side. It was just a bedroom, a bathroom, and another small room which had a k…

Poorly run facility, high turnover of staff, more run on politics than supporting the staff

Poorly run, terrible food! [name removed] the nurse manager, is horrid, cold, and misplaced about how to manage staff, and her assistants are more political when residents like my family needed a nursing home but wanted my money instead.

Happy with our choice.

I am speaking for my parents, to be clear. I'm not a resident. I visit often. The staff are hard working, friendly, and made us feel at home right away. The apartment sizes are very nice, they are large, clean, up to date in their design and appliances. Plenty of activities.

Summit by Morrison tops it!

Our overall experience has been great. No question that we made the right choice for us. The cleanliness, friendliness, quality of care and staff have been great. The food is a 5 plus. Dining is restaurant style: you order from a menu and the food that you select is prepared for you. No steamtable fare at Summit. The choices vary weekly and the Chef and baker are A+. Beware of promises

We met with the Resident Services and Marketing Director on several occasions to discuss what type of accommodations were needed in order to commit to move in to Summit by Morrison. The Resident Services and Marketing Director, on several occasions, told us Summit by Morrison could meet our requests so we gave notice to our current facility and made arrangements to move into Summit by Morrison. When it came time to sign the lease agreement I requested our approved accommodations be included in the lease agreement. …
