I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My mom ended up going to Sunny Acres Nursing Home in Petersburg, Illinois. The care is excellent. The staff communicates well. They listen to what I say about trying to get to know my mom. That type of thing has been really beneficial. It's a nursing home, and it has rehab services. She's receiving physical and occupational therapy. We're just getting started. Unfortunately, she's had a little bit of a setback because she has one foot that's swollen, but they have been working with her. The…

Mom stayed in Sunny Acres for rehab. It was kind of outdated and compact. The staff was nice. My mom was very busy doing physical therapy. The Alzheimer's people were mixed with everybody. It was good to a certain degree, but Mom was elderly and needed stimulation.
