PositiveI highly recommend Sunrise for memory care
Sunrise has offered my dad a clean, warm, supportive place to live and has relieved his family of all of the stressors of caring for a person suffering from a brain injury. They always call to keep us posted and up to date, but care for issues quickly and well.

Mom has been a resident there since [date removed]; paying $[fee removed]/month. 1/ The food there is despicable; Wouldn’t feed it to a dog. 2/ Her room always smells like [profanity removed]; they don’t clean the toilets? 3/ She is 95 and overweight.; needs help cleaning herself after using the toilet. She says they never help her. Constantly has feces on her backside. 4/ Mom has a button for service around her neck. PositiveSunrise Edgewater is outstanding!
Outstanding care and kindness from all the staff. Plus amazingly delicious food (Would love to get some of their recipes)! Moved Mom a few weeks ago from a different assisted living community (an independent one not affiliated with Sunrise) and have not seen her so happy and engaged for years. The ranch style mansion makes for more comfortable communal spaces all on the ground floor - where Mom’s apartment is. She has only to step outside her suite and she can see her friendly neighbors. She doesn’t feel isolated…

The greatest strength of the facility is the personality of the staff. It compliments their professionalism in caring for the residents with memory issues. There are 3 different room sizes in memory care that you can choose from based off of your loved ones needs.
