Review for Sunrise of Issaquah

The staff has been fantastic and incredibly helpful. The front desk staff have been welcoming and responsive, and the nursing team has done a great job managing medications and keeping everything organized, which has made a noticeable difference. The rooms have been great, and overall, I’ve been very pleased with the experience. The food may not always be a favorite, but my family was definitely used to home cooking for many years, so they may be a little spoiled in that area. Overall, the care, communication, and…

A caring community

It felt more like a community and less like a nursing home than any of the other places I checked. The terrace club transitional memory care also is a good fit for my mom and feels like the assisted living area. Many of the other memory care places I visited were filled with non communicative residents.

Poor care in "memory care"

She was not receiving the level of care that we were paying for we were paying an additional[Amount Removed] per day for her to have 1 on 1 feedings, she was not receiving this and lost nearly 20 pounds when I pointed it out complained, it took more than 3 weeks for the executive director to respond. Nice and facility and friendly staff. Love Mom's New Home.

The staff is awesome! The facility is nice, clean, new and feels like home. It does not feel sterile or hospital like. There are good variety of activities and menu.

Took great care of my father

I moved my father in for a respite stay after a fall. Things went so well we he stayed permanently. The staff is superior. The care provided is consistent. The building is clean. The food is ok.

They made it easy

My mom needed an assisted living placement suddenly, after a fall. I had to tour the options without her (because she was still in the hospital) and make a decision quickly. Sunrise helped me get everything figured out. They even helped me figure out her furniture so that the place would already look like home when she arrived. Everything had to happen really fast! Sunrise helped my mom adapt to her new routine and she has continued her recovery in a place that’s comfortable for her. It’s comfortable for me, too, b…
