I would give them 5 stars. My father was quite sick and bedridden. He was helpless, which was very difficult on the staff, requiring a high level of care. He moved in early September and passed away just before Thanksgiving. Everyone treated us very nicely, and I was grateful for his stay. Ultimately he had a stroke and then passed away about 7 days later. They worked well with the hospice service. He was deteriorating rapidly and couldn't hear, see, move, incontinent also, and was sundowning. He was having halluci…

PositiveLovely Residence
My mom has been living at the Sunrise in Marlboro for eight months. We are very happy with our decision to move her here. The management team, nursing team, and caregivers are all approachable and obviously care about the residents and the families. I am always welcomed by name when I visit. My mom is happy although she has some memory issues, she is doing very well in the Assisted living. If you are looking for places for a loved one, definitely take a tour.

The facility is a good stepping stone between standard assisted living and a nursing home. The care takers definitely keep a closer watch on their residents compared to other facilities where someone can walk out of the building without anyone questioning it. My mother in-law at the time still wanted to be independent but was starting to get delusions. We were able to sleep at night knowing that if she packed a suitcase and tried walking out the door someone would stop her!

We are so grateful for the care our Mom recieves and friendships she has made. My Mom has a more vibrant life than she’s had in a long time. My mother came in during the pandemic when she was practically paralized. They had to use a hoyer lift to get her in and out if bed. Being on a regular schedule and routine has been so good for her health. Through her improved health and physical therapy, she has not been on a hoyer lift for the last couple of years. Thank you Sunrise!
