The staff seem pretty engaged with the residents. My brother is non-verbal and humble, willing to submit to whatever happens. I think my personal care of him was better. Still, he had to go into care for safety reasons. They put him into a wheelchair after 3 weeks (not unexpectedly) and also into briefs (he is slow-moving), which makes their life easier. His room is generous and bright with a large window. There's a little fridge and sink which he doesn't use. (He has always been dependent, not making snacks.) The …

Overall, Sunrise is a very nice long term facility for Assisted Living & for Memory Care. The facility is beautiful & nicely decorated. It looks like a big mansion from the outside & on the inside Assisted Living section (wide porch, lobby area, TV room, café & dining room).
