PositiveStaff was very caring. Went above and beyond to help my aunt. One staff member would help my aunt choose an outfit for the day and help her get dressed. This is something she could have done with a bit of struggle. Caring staff were right there with a solution and my aunt didn't need to struggle. At mealtime someone would let her know and assist her to the dining room. Same with bingo, knowing she liked bingo, someone would let her know it was time for bingo and ask if she wanted help getting there. Since [name r…

PositiveI feel like the staff very much wanted my dad to feel at home. I would say communication was a struggle when we had issues. I would send an email and sometimes I received a response and sometimes I did not. However, I do recognize that there are growing pains with moving into a new facility. I know they got a new cook and that the food was improving. However, my dad has left of facility and is back at home now. we were disappointed in the activities provided. They had very limited activities that someone like my da…

Positive5 across the board except food 'service'. The community of residence and staffing are wonderful. However, the food service just needs better staffing. Food was good. Mother misses living there.
★★★★★
PositiveThe friendly, caring, and quality staff is of the utmost importance to us. The highest scores in those categories outweigh by far the fact that the food needs improvement. Our relative has received wonderful care by friendly caring staff. It is a small/medium place. As such, staff gets to know everyone by name. It's more of a community than a facility. As much as possible, Sunrise Willowbrook, allows people to be individuals and caters to that.

PositiveSunrise of Willowbrook is a beautiful clean facility. Staff were very friendly and explained the memory care unit. We would have chosen it for my sister but she had a change in her medical status. Be sure to visit for one of your loved ones.
★★★★★
PositiveI liked Sunrise of Willowbrook, except the lack of a private bedroom. The one bedroom is more like a studio. There is no privacy for the bedroom. Staff was very nice and knowledgeable. Very convenient location.
