I would say that TerraBella Harrisburg was mediocre. It looked very clinical when you came in, and I wasn't impressed with it. What I didn't like about the rooms is that you couldn't bring in a small refrigerator. They wouldn't allow any of those things. Just knowing my parents' lifestyle, they may not be ready to be up and at them for breakfast and would probably like to be able to heat something in a microwave or have a coffee pot. We toured TerraBella Harrisburg. The facility was very nice and clean, and when we were there, the patients seemed happy and well cared for. We saw the open area where dining was taking place for some more capable patients. Then there was another area for those who are at a more advanced level of dementia. So, that was a secured area, and understanding how my mom, the stage that she's in, the patients seemed content but not sedated. It was one of the things I was really looking for. I thought TerraBella Harrisburg was very interesting. I didn't have any problems with the tour. They were very friendly. When we walked through, the staff would stop and say 'hey' and greet us. I thought that they were very open and receptive. They didn't have as much open space when you first went in the front area. They had other areas throughout the facility where you could sit and get out of your room a little bit. It was a clean area, though. They had other places where my friend could go a…

TB is very clean. Assisted living go on outings, always something to do at the facility. Memory care is almost the same...not quite as active but still activities to be done. Gotta ask a LOT of questions before entering, we didn't ask enough.

The location of TerraBella Harrisburg's assisted living was good, and the property was very nice. I like the size of it, too. It seems very quaint, and the staff was nice. The thing I like least about it is that it has no furniture in the rooms so you would have to bring your own. They are also shared rooms, so you would have a roommate. Other than that, the cleanliness looked good. It was a smaller assisted living home with rocking chairs on the outside, so it was very inviting and looked homey.
