PositiveI toured TerraBella Southport. I was very happy. It was very nice, very well maintained, and the people were very nice. My first impressions were quite positive. The person who helped with the tour was very nice and friendly, explained everything, and answered all our questions. He was good.

PositiveI went to see the assisted living facility of TerraBella Southport. It was clean, the staff were friendly, and the residents appeared to be happy. The facility was also beautiful. It was beautifully decorated, and they apparently had just gone through a renovation, so they took the carpet out. The hardwood flooring was beautiful, and it made it easier for residents with wheelchairs to transport themselves. The person who gave the tour was very friendly and knowledgeable.

CriticalMost of the staff was friendly. Community space is clean but the rooms are not kept clean. We had to clean up food and other trash from floor and under beds/chairs. It was a shock when I was told his care level was higher and the bill had was [fee removed] increase the next month!

PositiveMy dad is in assisted living at TerraBella Southport. It's a nice place. The staff is nice and pleasant. They only have two levels there, assisted living and memory care. If they had unassisted living, he would probably be still staying there, but they don't. He hasn't been overly thrilled with the food. It's a clean and pretty well-maintained place. The value for the money is good.

CriticalThe people at TerraBella Southport were awesome. The rooms were pretty nice. I didn't get to eat at the cafeteria, but I stopped by and checked it out and I thought that it was pretty nice. They had a garden outside where you could sit and just talk and that was a neat spot. My whole family does art, so that was a place where you could work that in your mind and go out, sit in the garden, and ponder. It was beautiful. I've never seen another facility. So as far as I'm concerned, this facility is a 3 …
