CriticalWe went to The Bridges. My mom doesn't like it. It looked too institutionalized. The building itself looks more like a hospital. It doesn't look like a home, it looks more like a nursing home. Staff members were fine.

CriticalI looked at The Bridges at Mission. I like the facility. I like the fact that they work with Alzheimer's and dementia patients and it's their specialty. My mom has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's, so that was a real plus. However, I was concerned about the fact that they don't accept any insurance and it was all self-pay. They showed me the area where the residents were, and it was a little dirty with towels thrown all over the place. They showed me one apartment, and there was a cockroach on the floor. PositiveI found The Bridges at Mission to be very comforting and homey. My mother had very advanced Alzheimer's, so they took me to the Alzheimer's unit and showed me everything that they did.
