The Bristal At Holtsville

My parents have been living at The Bristal Of Holtsville NY location for a few months now. The staff is so welcoming, attentive, and truly care for their residents. You can truly tell that they enjoy being there. My dad moved into The Bristal at Holtsville. It's very clean. All the staff are great. Everybody I've met so far is great. They seemed to care, and they're very helpful. They have live music a couple of times a week. They have rescue dogs that come in to support.

The Bristal at Holtsville was wonderful, but it was very expensive. My mother was very happy there in her apartment. It was beautiful. She was very, very happy with the food. She was very sociable there, which was good for her because she wasn't very sociable at all when she was at home. The staff was very attentive to my mother. Lots of loving staff members at the Bristal but I strongly encourage anyone with a loved one here or in any type of facility to stay on top of that persons care. Make random visits. Placing a camera in the room can help insure they get care they are paying for. Don't trust in the system. Elderly people need family or friends to advocate for proper care. wonderful facility, great staff, would recommend

We really couldn't be any happier with the entire facility. The cleanliness and friendliness being on the top along with good food and a great menu. Care has been very good too. Activities are ok the only thing we wish would be a larger outdoor area to enjoy. I would have done away with the outdoor pool to make more room.

I would not recommend them

If your family member is unable to care for themselves you absolutely need to keep on top of them. Everything that goes on at the location should be watched as they do not watch for you. I would not recommend them
