The staff was accommodating and polite. But the rooms were smaller than what we need and the residents looked to be more nursing home residents than they were the type of community that my mom is looking for. We witnessed the front desk staff member speaking to some of the residents like children. Like maybe they had dementia and she was trying to reiterate a point that she had made. It was off-putting we thought.

My tour guide was very personable and friendly. I was welcomed by RT our guide , the chief brought me cookies , ice cream and strawberries. I was very impressed. But , after discussing the price and touring the studio apartment, my daughter and I declined. I toured Waterford and they are just as nice. I loved the large studio apartment and the pricing. My daughter and I discussed and we decided to go with Waterford.

5 in each category. We're very happy with The Cambridge. Tenants and staff are always friendly and respectful. If my grandmother doesn't feel well, they will deliver her meals. The staff and residents were immediately welcoming. We met 2 Ambassadors on the tour and were very happy with their excitement at our considering residency. The Chef bringing warm cookies and homemade ice cream was a pleasant surprise.

The price was the most affordable that I found and the facility and services are outstanding. The lobby, dining area and other public rooms have been remodeled and the rooms are being remodeled as tenants leave. My mother's room is one of the remodeled units and is lovely. She has a full kitchen (no dishwasher) nice sized bedroom and living room. My mother's loves the food and looks forward to the meals. The staff is very helpful when moving in and welling to make my experience easy. People are friendly and food is very good...not my recipes but still good. Still unpacking, making my place room. I think that will take a while.
