The Claiborne At West Lake

What was promised during the tour and what was given were directly opposite. The food here is bordering on malnutrition for the residents. The attitudes of the wait staff are very condescending to the residents. They are treated an an "inconvenience" rather than a customer. In general, the facility is not clean. There are not enough staff to do all that is necessary to make it comfortable for the residents that pay a lot of money to stay here.

I was a resident of Claiborne at West Lake. They didn't have anything for the patient. The staff was very helpful but they couldn't get us where we needed to go. The food was okay. The construction of the building was good. The cleanliness needs to be worked on. They had bingo. The layouts were nice. The rooms were okay for size.

I had a tour of this state of the art Facility. From the moment we met Director Billy Hall we received a warm, professional welcome. While touring with Billy we were introduce to many staff members that had smiling faces and it was such a good feeling knowing the staff were proud to be working at The Claiborne. Claiborne at West Lake was impressive and spacious. They have pleasant staff. The upstairs is pretty much the same. It's large. I like it. The dining area looked as if it would be suitable. This dining area looked large, but it is a large place. We looked at the menu, and it was impressive. They seem to comply with a healthy plate. The staff member who toured us around was a very nice, helpful, and encouraging lady. She was very knowledgeable of the facility. It was close to lunchtime and most of the residents…

Claiborne at West Lake was a fairly new facility, about four years old. It had all the amenities that we were looking for. We met Kristin and we liked her. They had a lot of different floor plan options. The rooms were very nice and they had a beautiful courtyard. They had an outside firm that comes in and manages the therapy with all the equipment. They had a theater, a game room, and a bistro.

I went to see The Claiborne at West Lake. I walked in. I only had to wait maybe five minutes. She took me to a room. She talked to me. She asked me questions. She had the pamphlet for me. She was very detailed. She gave me a tour. I understand that they're brand new, so their upgrades are already there. What I really like is that they have a salon there for grooming.
