Memory Care is not easy.

All was good until the DON returned after surgery and said Steve had to leave as he needed a "behavioral " facility. The staff had been very supportive during her absence and stated, "let us take care of Steve and you take care of you". I cannot tell you how comforting that statement was for me. I felt he was being given caring care. When the call came that he had to be moved I was stunned and distressed. When I arrived to pick up his belongings the person helping me said she did not understand why he was moved as …

The Commons at Honey Creek Assisted Living was great. The one we were looking at has just been vacated, so we weren't gonna be able to get it for a couple of days because they were painting it and doing the carpets and stuff like that. The staff was excellent. She was very thorough about going through what we would do, what we would need, and what was going on there. She showed us a calendar, the different rooms they had, activities, and other stuff on the tour and she was just very helpful. The residents were…
