PositiveThe Cottages on Wesleyan is beautiful. It's awesome. They're more of apartment home living. I was blown away when I saw it. I got to see one, and someone was living in it. It had a sunroom, which she made her office. I thought that was really nice. Then it had an area out back where you could sit and entertain. It had a little fire pit out there. This is total independent living for seniors. They're cottages. They have a rec center where they entertain and do things. All the staff I met were so frien…

PositiveThe cleanliness of The Cottages on Wesleyan was good and their maintenance was also good. I liked the fact that the foyer and the common area didn't have carpet in it and the rooms were nice. They were wide enough for one person. It was a nice facility. The employees were nice as well.

PositiveMy mother was at the Cottages at Wesleyan for over 10 years. She began in independent living and then assisted living for the remainder of her life. As a retired nurse I believe I am a good judge of quality of care. I highly recommend the Cottages and their care of my mother.
★★★★★
CriticalNot the best in communication with family/caregivers. They ask about foods that the residents can eat or not eat. My mother was given food that made her sick. First aid supplies were not on premises. Nurse had to call husband to bring bandages. This place is very pretty but looks can be deceiving. I would not recommend the Cottages on Wesleyan.

PositiveI like The Cottages on Wesleyan. The only thing I don't like about it is it's located in a busy section of town. If it's the right time of day, you would have a hard time getting in and out of your place of living. It was very nice and well-kept. If they would put a red light down the street from them instead of a four-way stop, it might help the traffic situation. Everybody was wonderful to me and I met some of the senior citizens that live there and enjoyed my time there. The staff was very nice. T…

PositiveThe Cottages on Wesleyan was my favorite in terms of the people because of the community feel, and more people seem to know each other. I just felt like it was homier and it felt like a tight- knit community. The facility is beautiful, a little old but still nice. The 1-bedroom had a sunroom with an ensuite half bath. They had food service where you could have food delivered, which I thought was nice.
