we would not recommend Experiences of Family and resident.

It is not what we were told. They are always short staffed. Toilet was backed up this past Friday and maintenance did not fix until Sunday morning. Room was smelling. That is totally unacceptable. She went to Medical center hospital yesterday by ambulance. She is currently there.

Overall, I would rate this as acceptable. Pros: Staff was friendly and helpful. Med techs were very good. Costs were reasonable and they don’t “nickle and dime” you for extra services. My 92 year old mother would forget it was meal time and they would check on her or bring her food to her room. Cons: High staff turnover and limited staff. Maintenance was limited. Her toilet was clogged once and another time the fill valve needed replacement. Both times she was told to use the hall bathroom. Not so easy for a 92 y…

Staff is very nice. The memory care unit is extremely locked down so we know our mom is safe. Probably The rating is for what we pay & what we feel we get for the money.

Kind and caring

The care givers are very kind and helpful despite being overworked many days. I enjoy living in the Assisted Living section and my husband is in the memory care section. Several of the staff have recently quit or been fired so there seems to be regular turnover. We have recently been without hot water for several days.

Our families experience

We like how nice the staff members as well as the property, it is clean and well maintained. We would recommend The Courtyards Assisted Living and Memory Care to other families.
