The director has been great at answering any questions we have and walking us through the process of getting our mom there and settled. The activities director and all staff have worked to make sure mom feels included and is getting out of her room. The food is good, and the facility as a whole and individual room's are well kept and clean. Her room is a nice size with plenty of storage for her belongings. Her bathroom is especially spacious. Everything was great overall. We were really only there those 2 times, since we live 10 hours away. The room is a good size, but my mother-in-law is having some issues transitioning from her 3100 sq ft house. Yes, we would recommend this community to others. We are very pleased with everything there.

PositiveThe staff at The Courtyards Senior Living at Oak Ridge were inviting, friendly, supportive and welcoming. The facilities were nicely kept, easy to maneuver about, and well maintained. Because they had a waiting list for new residents and time was of the essence for us, we selected a nearby facility that was comparable. “A Place For Mom” was a God-send for our family as we had little time to choose a place, and they made it possible for us to find a wonderful and reasonable home for her!

This is for memory care only (the Lantern). I don't know about the assisted living side. Very easy admission process with responsive staff. Relaxed and friendly atmosphere among residents. Realistic expectations of staff with memory care patients. patients are able to easily interact with each other in a common area. There is a good routine set up.
